ECOWAS in conjunction with Heinrich Boll Stiftung (HBS) has moved to mitigate the effects of climate change in the region by holding a three day workshop(21^st -23^rd September 2015,Abuja) on access to climate finance in West Africa.

Representatives of the Adaptation Fund (AF) and  Green Climate Fund (GCF) enlightened  participants of the workshop on the process  by which they can acquire accreditation and direct access to climate finance.

The workshop was attended by representatives of Member states Ministries for Environment and Finance as well as relevant stakeholders.
